The Rosslare Active Retirement Group are starting back on Monday 5th September, 2011 @ 10.45 am upstairs in the Rosslare Sport & Recreation Centre (opposite the church).

The Active Retirement Movement has over 450 affiliated groups in Ireland promoting social, cultural, recreational and sporting activities amongst the over 55’s generating friendship and community integration.

Rosslare ARA is one of 60 groups in the South East region and is noted for its range of activities and the energy and enthusiasm of its members. With 140 members in a village population of 1700 Rosslare ARA is a significant influence in the community and retirees from other parts of Ireland and abroad find acceptance and involvement through membership of the Association.

Activities include: Group holidays and outings, lunches and sporting and recreational activities and guest speakers on a range of topics. Meetings are held in the Crosbie Cedars Hotel twice a month.
