Rosslare Holiday Resort

Wexford athletes will no longer have to travel outside the county to find an adequate surface to train on. Rosslare Sport and recreation Centre completed yet another first for the county. In 2003 the centre opened the first artificial bowling green and last year added to the extensive facilities by constructing Wexford's first athletics track.

The high quality polymeric surface is very consistent and durable and can be used by all categories of athlete. The 200 metre 4 lane oval track with a 6 lane 100metre sprinting straight, pole vault, high jump and 10metre long jump pit make this complete athletics arena.

Local clubs Menapians, St Paul's and Kilmore use the track on a regular basis as well as many individual athletes. Bookings and enquiries should be directed to the office on 053 9132202 or email rcda@eircom.net
