Rosslare Field Day

When it comes to family fun days Rosslare Field Day has it all. Bonnie Babies, children's Fancy Dress and remote control flying Helicopters along with bouncy castles and spectacular dancing by Jiveinferno. Look out for the new bouncy castle that is guaranteed to give you an Airborne Adventure.

Sunday the 29th is the day to head for The Rosslare Sport and Recreation Centre and remember to bring fido with you who knows he may take best dog in show a title that is seen as a gateway to crufts. There is plenty for all to do at the show. Athletes of all generations can test themselves in competition on the track but there will be one special event - a 4 x 200 relay between Menapians, St Pauls, Kilmore and St Killians. This should prove to be a fast and very spectacular race. The final of the men's six a side and the ladies soccer competition should also make for a great spectacle.

The wine and cheese garden will be the site for the musical entertainment and this year we have a special treat with "JazzJuice".

Animal corner is always a big hit as are the various games of chance and skill, try your hand at the minidigger competition or the wheel of fortune or get you face painted by the girls from lollitots. The RNLI will be on hand as well will the Coast Guard.
