Rosslare Holiday Resort

Scoil Mhuire in Rosslare has recently been awarded our fourth green flag for our work on the Travel Theme, whilst the flag was awarded for our work in walking/cycling/park n’ stride/car pooling to school, we still continued working on our previous green themes of recycling, saving energy, saving water and reducing waste. 

We would like to thank the wider community for their support in all the “green issues” ongoing in our school and we ask for your further support in our newest initiative which is collecting old mobile phones to recycle.  We need to collect 300 phones to get an interactive whiteboard for our school, there is a collection box for the mobile phones on the school corridor.

Also we ask the local community to continue to please be aware of safety on the road as the children continue to cycle and walk to school and these numbers will hopefully increase as the weather improves.
