The Trustees have decided to extend the date in accordance with the terms & conditions of this promotion. The incredible interest expressed to the charity has brought about this change. The desire by so many people, who wished to support our organisation but who needed more time could not be ignored.

The maximum number of tenders that will be accepted still remains at 3,000 and the Trustees reserve the right to bring forward the sale date if all tenders have been returned prior to the extended closing date. Should these circumstances change the Trustees will give ten days public notice.

We now look forward to announcing the name of the successful purchaser of No. 83 Elderwood on Monday 10th January 2011 or at an earlier date.

HOW IT WORKS 

The Rosslare Community Development Association (RCDA) are selling a brand new 3 Bedroom House for less than €1000!!! The RCDA is a community-based Charity in Wexford, that provides sporting, educational and social facilities in Rosslare and our registered Charity Number is 17027.

No. 83 Elderwood in Castlebridge, Co. Wexford was donated to our Charity by Noonan Construction Limited. The Property will be sold by Tender Process to the HIGHEST UNIQUE OFFER. Offers will only be accepted provided they are between €0.01 cent and up to and including a maximum of €999.99

The Highest Unique Offer simply means that we will sell the property to the person who makes the Highest INDIVIDUAL Offer for the House. For Example, If you were to make an offer of €990.25 and someone else offers the exact same amount then that offer is no longer unique. 

Offers will only be accepted on the Official Tender Documents. Each Tender Document will allow you to make Ten Offers for the House. Tender Documents, once completed, must be posted to John W. Corish in the Special Envelope Provided. The no. of Tender Documents available is LIMITED to just 3,000.

Rosslare Development Association plan to use the donations received to build a new Water Sports Centre. This new development which will create 3 new permanent and up to 6 seasonal jobs teaching sailing, kayaking, wind and kite surfing as well as power boat courses. It is hoped that the new centre, which will be ready for April 2011, will greatly enhance the tourism product of the area.

This Tender Process will begin on Tuesday June 29th with a Live Broadcast on Southeast Radio from No. 83 Elderwood in Castlebridge, Co. Wexford.
