This camp blends surfing and water safety teachings to give your child essential skills to keep them safe in the sea while also having a lot of fun. Learn skills such as rescue techniques with a surfboard, how to identify currents and hazards, how to recognise emergencies and what to do, breath-work, swimming and surfing.

The Shack staff are experts in water safety and alongside surfing you will learn about the winds, tides, how to forecast waves, how they are formed and why this is important so you can safely enjoy the sea.

Just bring togs and a towel and meet us outside the surf school 10 mins before your start time.. We will supply all the gear you need for an action packed 2 days. We are really looking forward to getting you out in the water!

The FAI Summer Soccer School programme will enter its 30th year in 20265. Over the years, the camps have grown to become the largest programme in the Grassroots Department of the Football Association of Ireland.

The camps aim to provide children between the ages of 6 and 14 the opportunity to attend a week-long football summer camp over the holiday period. Every year boys and girls of all abilities turn out to enjoy five days of fun and football. It doesn’t matter if you’re just a beginner or if you have your sights set on Seamus Coleman’s number 2 shirt, or Katie McCabe’s number 10 shirt, you will have fun and learn a lot at the Summer Soccer Schools.
