Its Back! Summer 2023's event was a little on the damp side but you braved the elements, brollies in hand, and we were so grateful for your loyal support. So grateful in fact, we are going to give it another go this year! Weekly prayers are already being sent up and our child of Prague statue has been dusted off and placed on a prominent window sill. So with prayer, and a little luck, we hope to bring you all the usual family favourites under a blue and sunny sky this year.

Blending all the best traditions of the original field day, with a particular emphasis on the area’s creative and artistic talents, we hope to bring you a fun-filled day, with something for all the family; the tennis players, shoppers, cupcake lovers, and of course the four legged members whose presence is central to the success of the day.

All of our regular events will feature; the Dog Show, children’s rides and games, dance and music performances. SummerFest is the ideal venue to showcase local creative talents; art, photography, jewellery and home baking to list just a few.

Hopefully, all that activity is bound to work up an appetite but we will have that covered too, with food options galore to choose from.  Start with a visit Kelly’s Hotel cookery demonstration to tempt your tastebuds before browsing our food stalls for a tasty burger hot off the bbq, followed by a sweet treat and a specialist coffee 'chaser'to round things off.  Don’t worry, there will be an opportunity to dance off the calories before you leave
